Listening to the radio to dull the silence
Caused by your absence from my sight.
Instead it makes me more lonely and sad
As the songs talk of how I feel inside.

The tunes take me away to another place--
A place I thought would calm me down.
But I begin to miss the times we had,
When we would just listen and dance.

I wish I took that offer to dance with you
